In southwestern Ohio, we may not have an amazing store like MOOD fabrics in New York City, but close to our high school we have a couple of convenient options for the kids to utilize. I show JoAnne Fabrics and the Walmart fabric department in the video. \r

In this video, students will find an explanation of things they will find in the notions aisle, as well as how to select and find a pattern using the books and drawers, where to find upholstery fabrics, decorator and quilting fabrics, apparel fabrics, etc. It is shown on the end of the fabric bolts where to find the price, fabric composition, and washing instructions. a necessary bit of information before you cut and purchase any fabric. Always read your pattern for suggested types of fabrics for the selected item. Some fabrics arent appropriate for many applications. so check the pattern, the material composition, and washing instructions!
