Togolese forces clash with protesters

Eyewitness video has emerged from Togo of clashes between authorities and demonstrators during anti-government protests.

In video filmed on Wednesday (October 18) in the capital of Lomé, fires - possibly as a result of burning tyres - can be seen in one road, a man is beaten by a club by a uniformed man and a large group of schoolchildren can be seen running away.
