How to make Iron Oxide (Rust) using electrolysis! [Tutorial]

Iron oxide can be used in multiple ways but the most common is in the fiery hot thermite reion!\r
We ofcourse are also interested and we have decided to take the step to make the first component.\r
This video is a detailed guide on how to make Iron oxide for your own use, let us know if you see something wrong or what could be improved, we`ll add it in the description.\r

Extra Information: \r
If your rust is black, even after boiling down, try heating it above a fire in something like a soda can, this should convert it\r
to the red Fe2O3, there will be some contaminations of other iron oxides, this will affect its performance in thermite, and might make it unable to use it in reions that require very pure chemicals, but its still fine for thermite!\r
\r
Another way to increase the amperage is to increase the size of the electrodes, but the crust might insulate the electrodes and reduce the speed of the reion. To this day we are still searching for a way to prevent the crust forming, it can stop the process earlier than the\r
iron runs out.\r

When the cell goes above a certain temperature sodium chlorate will be produced, this is an oxidizer and is dangerous mixed with fuels.\r
This however is unlikely and the NaCl in the cell will problably be turned into NaClO (Sodium Hypochlorite, (Household Bleach)) and Na(OH), Sodium Hydroxide.\r
\r
We recently found out the green stuff is a different hydroxide of iron, iron II Hydroxide, this will decompose into Iron (II) oxide which turns into the desired Iron (İ) oxide upon heating, the Iron (II) Oxide can be used too in thermite though.\r
