HOW TO FIND TOP DEAD CENTER ON THE COMPRESSION STROKE. (ONLY TRICK ON YOUTUBE WITH A BALLOON)

Automotive technician since 1991, I show an easy method for finding TOP DEAD CENTER ON THE COMPRESSION STROKE for #1 cylinder using a screw driver, hose from a compression tester and a BALLOON. Yeeeep a Balloon. its simple and can be done just by taking out the #1 spark plug. These methods work for all 4 stroke engines and will help you find that dreaded TDC on the compression stroke so you can line up your timing belt correctly. I also explain Camshaft Lobe position and why it needs to be off the lifters for compression to take place. KEEP IN MIND you DO NOT need to take the valve covers off to perform this task, I only have them off because I am changing the head gaskets on this vehicle..Another thing also, if your piston rings are bad (not sealing properly) or your valves are not seated and sealed tight you will have low compression and if it is extreme, it will not inflate the balloon. Keep your faith strong in Christ and never ever give up! Excuse me for calling the Crankshaft pulley bolt a Nut lol, I blame it on my A.D.D. lol
