If you thought Donald Trump was done with Colin Kaepernick, then you thought wrong.

That’s right, the president went on Fox News and said the NFL should have suspended the former quarterback for one game when he first took a knee… and he never would have done it again.

He added that they could have then suspended him for two games and they could have suspended him again if he did it a third time, for the season, and you would never have had a problem.

All this is coming on the heels of athletes deciding to kneel or sit during the national anthem – something Kaepernick did in August of 2016 to protest police brutality and racisim while he was playing for the San Francisco 49ers.

But as the protests continue, Trump gets more upset.

He says you cannot disrespect our country, our flag, or our anthem.

Donald gave the interview to Sean Hannity from the site of a rally in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
