Equality Commissioner welcomes new race audit

The chairman of the Equality and Human Rights Commission has welcomed the publication of a new audit into how people from ethnic minorities are treated by public services. But speaking to ITV News on Tuesday, David Isaac said although today’s report is an ‘important first step’, more needs to be done including appointing a Secretary of State with responsibility for setting ‘ambitious targets’.
