Spectacular tidal waves in China's Qiantang River

Drone footage has emerged from China of the famous tidal waves in Qiantang River.

The video, captured in Jiaxing, southern China's Zhejiang Province on October 6, shows two tides meeting together forming a shape like a cross in Qiantang River.

Qiantang River tidal bores are thought to be the largest of their kind in the world and the event is a popular tourist attraction.
