Snake Plant Propagation

Snake plants (Sansevieria trifasciata) are a perfect succulent for growing indoors as they dont require much light, water or care and in return they release oxygen and purify the air. Snake plants can be grown from new shoots or from cuttings. With a clean scissors, cut 4-6 inch sections of leaves and allow a few days for the wound to heal before planting. Keep cuttings vertical with about 1/3 of the cutting in moist but not soggy soil.
