DIY: How to Make Pocahontas Necklace!

An Atomic Cupcake How To Tutorial: Make your own Pocahontas necklace out of clay! I found that it was a lot easier for myself to make the necklace and have it semi-replicate the original Disney version, than to buy a bunch of beads and make a necklace out of that. I really wanted it to look like the one in theand it did! I was really happy with the result and it wore perfectly when I wore it. I hope that you guys make it, or at least think about making it, if you are dressing as Pocahontas.\r

-x-o knife\r
-clay in Turquise and Silver (I used baking clay and it was very easy to work with. the brand I got was FIMO, and the colors I used were called mint, although it looked turquoise, and silver and I found them at Michaels)\r
-straight edges (rulers, books, etc)\r
-string\r
-needle\r
-sewing thread\r
-baking pan\r
-oven\r
