Boris Johnson MP says his heart goes out to the people of Las Vegas, after 59 people were killed during Sunday’s mass shooting. Opening his speech at the Conservative Party conference in Manchester, the Foreign Secretary said the attack on ‘innocent and music-loving young people’ in the Nevada resort city echoes the attack on Manchester Arena in May – when 22 people died as a bomb was detonated moments after an Ariana Grande concert – but that the people of Vegas will ‘come back stronger’.
