The Prime Minister has defended her decision not to sack the Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson MP, despite reports of growing divisions between the two, over the government’s stance on Brexit. Speaking in Manchester ahead of Johnson’s keynote speech to Conference this afternoon, Theresa May MP insisted that she decides who sits in her Cabinet, but that strong leadership benefits from having ‘a variety of different voices’ within government.
