MASSIVE Lego Battle of Hoth MOC! With UCS AT-AT and Ion Cannon

Here is my MOC Star Wars attack on Hoth diorama. It is made with an estimated 15,000 LEGO bricks and includes a massive UCS custom AT-AT and ion cannon. The attack on Echo base was originally seen in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back and it was my favorite scene in the original trilogy and in all of Star Wars for that matter! The scene in thedepicts Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia Organa and Darth Vader and adds a lot of charer development to them all. The goal for my scene made of LEGO was to capture the feel of chaotic trench layout and the desperate rebels fighting to the last breath.\r
The custom AT-AT is in itself about 5,000 bricks and build over the span of a year. It took several bricklink orders and several different methods to get it to be able to stand up on the uneven surface of Hoth, but when I got it to stand the rest was relatively straightforward. A separate video going into more detail on the walker will be released very soon on my channel.\r
Also the custom V-150 Planetary Ion cannon was another amazingly fun build to add to the Hoth scene. It is comprised of about 3,000 bricks almost exclusively being light bluish gray plates of various sizes and misc. black cylinder pieces for the gun. Like with the AT-AT I will be showing this cannon up close as well as how you can build such a massive Ion cannon with some pictures I took along the way.\r
