You can make this for pennies compared to the cost of buying a can. \r
4 medium apples peeled and cored and cut \r
3 Tablespoon water\r
2 Tablespoons butter\r
1 teaspoon cinnamon\r
1/3 cup granulated sugar\r
1 Tablespoon + 1 teaspoon Cornstarch \r
1 Tablespoon of water ( If you like it thinner use 2 Tablespoon water )\r
In a pot on the stove add butter, cinnamon till melted.\r
Add sugar and water stir add apples cook on low for 4-6 minutes till apples are tender not mushy. Cover your pot Simmer stir from time to time.\r
Once apples are the right texture remove lid and mix Cornstarch and water till smooth add to cooked apples. Cover pot again on Simmer for 1-5 minutes depending as it cooks it will thicken.\r
Serve hot over Ice Cream, waffles or pancakes. Can be used for turnover Filling and pie filling. Lots of uses for desserts
