The Great Train Race- Thomas & Friends - How Should We Handle Accidents? So we started filming The Great Train Race and I am not happy with the results at the crossings. Salty and Toby crashed. Emily and Edward crashed. I thought maybe it could be like a demolition derby, but that isnt really who is the fastest. How should I handle it before a crash happens? Should we call the race if a locomotive gets that far ahead? Both accidents happened before 5 laps (I wanted to got 8). So I guess 4 or 5 laps is the max? (Should have listened to Mardigrasman23). How should we handle this? Any more suggestions?\r
