भारत दौरे पर आए जापान के पीएम शिंजो आबे और पीएम मोदी की मौजूदगी में गुरुवार को दोनों देशों के बीच कई अहम समझौते हुए। इनमें साइंस और तकनीक के क्षेत्र में इंटरनैशनल जॉइंट एक्सचेंज प्रोग्राम शुरू करने, जापान के AIST और भारत के DBT के बीच जॉइंट रिसर्च कॉन्ट्रैक्ट शुरू करने, डीबीटी और नैशनल इंस्टिट्यूट ऑफ अडवांस्ड साइंड ऐंड टेक्नॉलजी के बीच एमओयू, रिसर्च से संबांधित मामलों में सहयोग से जुड़े समझौतों पर हस्ताक्षर हुए।
