- My cloth diaper wash routine with our top loading HE machine. If you exclusively breastfeed - the poop and all can go in the wash. Otherwise, youll need to use a diaper sprayer. I throw the babies clothes and diapers all in the same pail, and wash together. Weve never had any issues with smells or staining. Any questions let me know.\r
