Animals stranded, unable to escape amid Hurricane Irma

Dozens of animals were left stranded as Hurricane Irma made its way to the Florida peninsula. Florida police saved nearly 40 dogs only days leading up to Irma. Police may now pursue felony charges against people who abandoned their pets during the storm.
