Self-driving lorries get the green light for a UK road-test

'Self-driving lorries' are to be road-tested on British roads, under new plans unveiled by the government today. The convoy made up of three trucks will include a lead vehicle at the front, to control speed and braking. But the pilot scheme - to be operated by the Transport Research Laboratory - has led to some safety concerns from road safety groups and motoring organisations. Report by Willmotta.
