Jayson Kochan shared footage from an August 13 anti-white supremacist rally in Seattle of a man on a bicycle he wrote “barrel[ed] into the crowd with his [bike] and start[ed] attacking members of the march.”Kochan was marching with hundreds of others in a rally held in downtown Seattle in response to an event called Freedom Rally Seattle, which was organized by a group called Patriot Prayer. According to the Facebook event, the Freedom Rally Seattle was against “liberal strongholds” and claimed “The West Coast has slowly been infected with communist ideologies throughout our entire culture.”Tensions were high at the rally since it occurred one day after the violent August 12 Charlottesville marches.Kochan shared a video of the aftermath of the man he claimed barrelled his bike into the crowd. His video doesn’t capture this – Kochan appears to have turned his camera away right when the alleged bike-attack occurred – but it does show a man with a bike attempting to hit protesters and being restrained by a much larger man at one point.Kochan told Storyful that several members of the rally escorted the man out quickly so that he wouldn’t be injured by the protestors. “He’s lucky to have gotten out unscathed,” he wrote.
