Bull lit on fire runs headfirst into pole and commits suicide

VALENCIA, SPAIN — Distressing footage of a bull lit on fire captures the moment the animal chooses to end his own life rather than burn.

On July 22 in the small town of Foios, people celebrating the "Bulls in the Street" festival were honoring their culture by terrorizing some bulls. One bull in particular had obviously had enough, and reportedly gored a man in the leg with its horn.

That evening, the same angry bull found himself tied to a wooden post in the middle of a square. Unable to break free, the bull was kept in place while a group of men then set his horns ablaze. The men moved out of the way as the panicked bull lost his mind.

Wrought with terror and forced to endure such agonizing pain, the bull tried to run, but quickly realized he had no escape. Left with only one option, the animal ran as far away as he could, turned around, and rammed himself headfirst into the post. According to Fox News World, the bull reportedly died.

The "Bulls in the Street" is a scaled down version of Pamplona's notorious "Running of the Bulls" festival.
