Donald Trump once owned the New Jersey Generals of the United States Football League (USFL). As owner, Trump signed Boston College Eagles star quarterback Doug Flutie, Cleveland Browns quarterback Brian Sipe, and Georgia Bulldogs running back Herschel Walker. Trump then tried to sue the NFL for more than a billion dollars, but was awarded only $1. The USFL folded shortly thereafter.
