During a press briefing Wednesday, Sarah Huckabee Sanders read a 9-year-old's letter to President Trump.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders has revealed that President Trump has a nine-year-old fan who doesn’t know why people don’t like the president.
During a press briefing Wednesday, Sanders told journalists that she wanted to offer periodic reminders “about some of the forgotten men, women, and children that we are here to serve and that the president is fighting for.”
As a first example, she introduced a letter which states, “My name is Dylan...but everybody calls me Pickle. I’m nine years old and you are my favorite president. I like you so much I had a birthday about you. My cake was the shape of your hat.”
He goes on to ask a series of questions about the president’s age, the size of the White House, and how much money Trump has--all of which Sanders answered to varying degrees.
Dylan adds, “I don’t know why people don’t like you. You seem really nice. Can we be friends?”
To this, Sanders responded, “I’m happy to say that I directly spoke to the president, Dylan, and he would be more than happy to be your friend.”
She continued, “Dylan, thanks for writing to the president. And if you’re ever in Washington, D.C., I hope you’ll stop by and let us show you around the White House.”
An image of the letter, dated June 1, has since been posted to Sanders’ Twitter feed.
