Gibbon escapes from enclosure at South African zoo

A video has emerged from South Africa of a gibbon which escaped from its enclosure.
In the clip, which was filmed at Johannesburg Zoo on July 21, the gangly ape can be seen skipping along a fence and crawling around the outside of the enclosure.
"What a surprise to see one of them swinging on the outside of the cage." the filmer said.
"The security people called the vet but unfortunately we could not wait to see how and what they did to get him back in the closure," the flimer added.
