Tyler, the Creator – Flower Boy Album Review | DEHH
  • 7 years ago
Tyler, the Creator returns with his fourth studio album Flower Boy, a follow up to his third album Cherry Bomb (http://bit.ly/2v8cHxz) released in 2015. The album dropped on July 21, 2017 on Columbia Records. SFFB finds Tyler abandoning the abrasive, experimental side of production to return to a more soulful, jazzy sound. Flower Boy has features from Rex Orance County, Can, Frank Ocean, ASAP Rocky, Estelle, Roy Ayers, Steve Lacy, Anna of the North, and Jaden Smith. Tyler, the Creator handled the production on the entire album.

Originally promoted as Scum F*ck Flower Boy, Tyler changed the album name to Flower Boy days before it’s release. Tyler has also come out publicly on Twitter to address his lyrics in Garden Shed stating that the lyrics were “misheard.”
