The Moustache Man of Leboh Pasar
Kailash Nau is known as the “moustache man” in Leboh Pasar, Kuala Lumpur, because of his long and unique moustache style.
Measuring 20 inches, his fascinating facial hair attracts the attention of many in the area, making him a well-known and easily recognisable figure on the streets.
The 36-year-old Nepalese businessman has been residing in Malaysia for the past six years.
The main reason Kailash grew out his moustache was because he thought it was stylish. It took him six years to grow it out and he spends RM200 a month to maintain it.
"Sometimes it is hard for me to go out because many people want to take photo with me. I'm happy to pose for photos but at times, it takes a long time to walk even a short distance.
“I cannot be rude by saying 'no' because that would certainly make me feel bad. So, I would just say 'yes' to all to those people who want to take pictures with me," Kailash told The Malaysian Insight.
