Dileep's charity effort to help Kanchanamala revive the Moideen Seva Mandir has won the hearts of many of his fans. The actor now tells us what made him go ahead with the effort.
"I didn't see anyone helping her out even after she admitted her problems that she was living in the shed and the large book collection of Moideen Seva Mandir was confined to a single room," he says. "I talked to her and after hearing her problems I decided I should help as her work also benefits a lot of other people. We should not be blind to such efforts."
Kanchanamala's life was portrayed in the superhit movie Ennu Ninte Moideen, which had Prithviraj as the eponymous character while Parvathy played Kanchanamala.
