AirAsia Flight From Perth to Malaysia Shudders Violently After 'Fan Blade Failure'

Passengers were alarmed and frightened when an AirAsia X plane headed to Kuala Lumpur suffered a reported fan blade failure in its No. 1 engine, causing the aircraft to shudder violently mid-flight on June 25, according to The West Australian.Flight D7237 left Perth Airport at 6:50 am, with nearly 400 passengers on board. Pilots were forced to divert the flight back to Perth, landing at 10 am.The plane can be seen shuddering in this video.A passenger told the ABC, “It was literally like you were sitting on top of a washing machine.
