Hundreds of rescuers search for missing people after major landslide in China

Footage has emerged from China of hundreds of rescuers mobilised to search for missing residents after a landslide buried dozens of household.

The video, filmed in Ngawa Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province on June 24, shows armed police officers, firefighters, soldiers and medical workers arriving on the scene to search through rubble for survivors.

According to reports, at least 62 households, where a total of 112 people lived, were buried in the landslide which was caused by a heavy storm.
