Russian inventors from Aeromechanics Company unveil Micron gyrocopter. The model is believed to be one of the smallest and the lightest helicopters in the world: With the weight of 115 kilograms (253 pounds) it does not require any pilot license or registration, and can fly with speed up to 120 kmph, at max altitude of up to 2 km.

"Thanks to the unique compact size of the helicopter it can be transported even in a car trunk or on a small auto trailer. The chopper can be easily folded and unfolded within minutes," says test pilot Dmitri Rakitskiy.

Micron can easily take off from any landing site with 10-meters diameter and from any surface. It is capable of providing a comfortable fly for several hundred kilometres.
