Anything that is not specified as unlawful in the Qur'an is lawful

ADNAN OKTAR: "In what part of the Qur'an does God say having fun is lawful?" asks Sezer İnan. But you follow an erroneous way of thinking. The right question should be, "In what part of the Qur'an God says it is unlawful?" Look, it is impossible to make a list of what is lawful as there are millions, billions of them. But it is possible to list unlawful deeds; one can count them with their fingers. What do you tell us? You ask us to provide reference for heaps of lawful deeds from the Qur'an. If that were the case, than the Qur'an would consist of myriad volumes. You are in the wrong. That is not the right method. How should it be? If something is not unlawful, then it is lawful. I have talked about this before, you should have learned about it by now. God states in the Qur'an that this is the method. God says in the Quran, "Say: "I do not find, in what has been revealed to me, any food it is unlawful to eat...". What should we look for? We should look for what is unlawful. God does not say, "I do not find, if it is lawful." He says, "I do not find any information in the Qur'an if it is unlawful or not." The method in the Qur'an is the correct one to follow.
