Is there really a chance LeBron James departs his native land of Cleveland again? Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer seems to think so. Their report cites an article by The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski from last year that says their is league-wide belief James' latest stay in Cleveland will be short-lived. O'Connor has the four-time MVP moving to the west coast — where he has a home to play — for either the Lakers or Clippers in 2018 when he will be a free agent. Following the 2017-18 season, LeBron has a $35.6 million player option to remain with Cleveland in 2018-19, per Spotrac. James and his Cavaliers are on the verge of getting swept in the NBA Finals, something that "The King" is familiar with having been ousted in four games by the Spurs in 2006. Maybe this fuels his desire to change scenery?
