Roger Ailes offered Rachel Maddow job at Fox to do nothing

Late Fox News head Roger Ailes once offered Rachel Maddow a job, but it came with a price. The MSNBC host said Ailes wanted to hire her "so not one else put her on" air. Maddow told SiriusXM radio host Howard Stern. But despite their political differences, Ailes and Maddow became friends after meeting at a White House party in 2009.
