Hermann Buhl an Austrian climber, who in 1953, made the first ascent of Nanga Parbat, visited the place and
named it Fairy Meadows on account of its wonderful scenery. Located at the western most edge of the Himalayas in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan at a height of 3300m. A lush green plateau offers a breathtaking view of north face of majestic 9th highest mountain of the world, Nanga Parbat.
The video, a combination of about 2200 pictures, is a glimpse of the grandeur that Fairy Meadows has on display.
