This parallel isn’t to hurt anyone’s sentiments or religious beliefs. They are parallels based on the characters of the epic Mahabharat and the characters of Mamaji and Mamaji from their different actions.
Mamaji has always been a good soul. He always thinks the right, talks the right, and wants the right, but does no action per say, like Vishma of Mahabharat. He loves Ishwari a lot but often see the injustice, knowing it’s wrong, can’t take any action.
Mamiji, only loves herself and to an extent her son Vicky. She always thinks evil, talks evil and wants evil, like Shakuni of Mahabharat. She manipulates every situation to take advantage of, and has tried to brainwash Ishwari like Shakuni did to blind Dhritarastra in Mahabharat.
The parallel may be funny but isn’t it true? Ishwari has been blinded. Like Shakuni she planned a war to throw Sonakshi out of the house by brainwashing Ishwari. And Mamaji like Vishma just saw the injustice and did nothing.
But good always wins over evil, and that is what is happening today. Mamaji continues his Vishma avatar and Mamiji her Shakuni avatar. Looks like Ishwari is not blind any more so Shakuni isn’t having enough impact on her.

Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi (English: Few colors of love can be like this too) is an Indian romance drama television series, which premiered on 29 February 2016 on Sony TV, Sony TV Asia and ARY Zindagi.
Shaheer Sheikh, Erica Fernandes and Supriya Pilgaonkar play the lead roles. The series is a realistic take on the romantic relationship between Devrath Dixit, a business tycoon and Sonakshi Bose, a Nutritionist Doctor. Their love story and how it impacts the unique, close-knit relationship between Dev and his possessive mother Ishwari is the main theme of the show.
Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi has been dubbed in Tamil as Ini Ellam Vasanthame and broadcast on Polimer TV. Due to Shaheer Sheikh's popularity in Indonesia, the show has also been dubbed in Bahasa as Cinta Perlahan Tumbuh and airs on ANTV.
The series has received a lot of positive and critical response, with some praise directed at Sheikh's and Erica Fernandes’s performance and their chemistry together.
