Where there's a will, there's a way for viral adventure photographer Charleton Churchill.
Most people's idea of a "nontraditional wedding" is getting hitched in a bar, but Charleton has something even more extreme in mind for soon-to-be-married James and Ashley...say, Mount Everest Base Camp? The first couple ever married on Everest did so back in 2005, but James and Ashley would become the first two married in a wedding dress and tuxedo!
After a year of grueling training and planning every last detail, the trio fly out to Nepal for the March ceremony. Only, because of Everest's extreme cold (-8°F to 10°F) and thin atmosphere, they've got to spend three weeks on the mountain acclimating themselves before a single vow is exchanged! Although several close calls with sickness, exhaustion and bad weather come close to sabotaging their plans, James, Ashley and Charleton pull it off their dream wedding in the end.
Take a look at the photos and you'll see why this crazy trip was totally worth it.
