Poet vs. Patriarchy: Staceyann Chin

This What's Underneath episode features the powerful journey of performance poet, radical activist, and super mom Staceyann Chin. She has suffered corrective rape in Jamaica and racism here in America. But her optimism knows no bounds. Through her work, the loud, proud soul is gunning for a utopia, where everyone has access to the resources that they need to be safe and happy.

Staceyann’s What's Underneath episode was made possible by Olìe Biologique, the skincare brand whose essential facial oil blends are all you need to amplify your own authentic beauty, no matter your age, body type, ethnicity or personality.

As a part of our partnership, Staceyann made a limited-edition (there’s only 25) body oil that embodies her individuality.
