NATO joins Trump's anti-ISIS coalition

NATO is set to join a U.S.-led coalition against ISIS, the secretary general announced. “We will agree on Nato’s membership in the [anti-IS] coalition. This will send a strong political message of Nato’s commitment to the fight against terrorism and improve coordination within the coalition”, Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. The organization intends to expand air surveillance to monitor the terror group instead of taking on a combat role.
