Russian Marine Special Forces practice underwater gunfire

During drills in the Kaliningrad region, Russian naval troops showed off their underwater combat skills: shooting, close fighting and mine clearance training in various conditions, temperatures and visibility.
The drills were centred around a staged siege by a fictitious enemy that had captured a naval base and planted mines in one of the ships. The troops had to then clear the area of explosives.
The troops use a 5.66 calibre APS assault rifle.
