DMC's Darryl McDaniels: 12-Year Olds Rap For Him, Materialism & Message for Adopted Kids

Run DMC member Darryl McDaniels sat down with Sway in the Morning to discuss his Garden of Dreams Talent Show. DMC walked down rhyme memory lane to discuss his thought about materialistic lyrics in hip-hop and the legacy of his career. Additionally, he shared his support about the youth in hip-hop and why he appreciates the youth who still have a political message in their rhymes. Finally, McDaniels explained how his adoption back ground inspired him to support the Garden of Dreams Talent Show, which is happening June 17th at 7pm at Radio City Music Hall.
