Stephen Hill From BET Speaks on Channel's Legacy & Hip Hop Awards Nomination Process

For the 10th straight year the BET Hip Hop Awards will kick off from Atlanta Georgia tomorrow evening (previously recorded this past Friday) hosted by the one and only Uncle Snoop.  At the forefront of BET and all of their commercial success is none other than Stephen Hill.

While we were down in the ATL this past week we had the opportunity to sit down with Hill and pick his brain about the awards and what the whole of BET means to the music community.

From discussing the channel's success and the differences it possesses from other channels like REVOLT, Hill candidly speaks out about why BET is still able to stay alive and well with the deflating culture of music videos being shown on TV.

He also breaks down the nomination and voting process for the show and how his team takes a back seat to other professionals that state their opinion.  We are also blessed with a few surprise announcements about some performances and lets just say one of Atlanta's own is bound to shine.
