Boko Haram released a video showing four Chibok girls - They were clutching an AK-47 rifle - They were apparently stating reasons why they had "refused" to return from captivity A video reportedly from Boko Haram showing four abducted Chibok girls holding an AK-47 rifle has surfaced online. In the video, the girls, who are heard speaking in Hausa, are stating reasons why they "refused" to return from captivity to their parents.

According to a top Nigerian journalist, Ahmad Salkida, the name of the Chibok girl holding the rifle is Maida Yakubu.
The girls reportedly found 'husbands' and got radicalized during their more than three years of captivity in Sambisa forest. Earlier, there were reports that Shuaibu Moni, one of the Boko Haram commanders released recently in exchange for the 82 Chibok schoolgirls, had appeared in new video issuing threats to Nigerian authorities and President Muhammadu Buhari.

In a series of tweets on Friday, May 12, Salkida said the commander appearing in the video declared that it is not true that only five commanders were released.

The commander also reportedly warned of an imminent bombing of Abuja.
