Man flips out, attacks woman who declined to give him her number

KOH SAMUI, THAILAND — Security video from a food court in Koh Samui, Thailand on May 6 captured the moment a man physically attacked a young woman who declined to give him her number, according to Thai news portal, Sanook.
After speaking to police, the reporter says the violence began when this that young Thai man in the hat noticed a pair of ladies sitting at the next table over.
He started running his game on Miss Blue Shorts, and apparently asked for her phone number — but she declined.
This, apparently, was too much humiliation for Hat Man. Instead of a playful comeback or a smile, he snarled a Thai version of “Who the hell are you, do you even know who my father is?”
It quickly went downhill. The manchild then shoved the table, spilling rice porridge over her. More words followed before she lobbed a glass in his direction, and responded by throwing punches her and her friend. The video speaks for itself, really.
The shocked and battered women then reported him to the cops, who arrested him the same afternoon. After a negotiation, he agreed to pay the women 10,000 ($290) baht in compensation, in return for not pressing charges.
We say he got off lightly.
