US Rep Tom MacArthur faced protesters and a hostile crowd at his town hall in Willingboro, New Jersey, on Wednesday, May 10.One resident’s speech about his concerns about politics in Washington was met by loud applause and cheers, which can be seen in this video. “I am concerned I have a president who does not know American history,” he said. “If he did, he wouldn’t have fired the man who was investigating him.”The New Jersey congressman faced questions about the American Health Care Act, which Republicans passed through the House of Representatives last week. MacArthur’s answers were met with boos and shouting for the first portion of the town hall, which lasted five hours, according to a report.Protesters also gathered outside the building where the town hall was held.
