In part 7, photos of more landmarks from the cosmopolitan era of the city are presented,In addition to some Greco –Roman monuments.The accompanying music is that of a rare Greek song from 1952 or before,titled [mes t'agioklima ] -tango-POLYDOR] ..
The composer is Takis Marinos and the words are by Kostas Vlachopoulos.

The building at the corner is the Monte Carlo building ( named after a bar/night club that occupied the base- one of only three night clubs in all Alex in the 60s and 70s )..Unfortunately it was either mysteriously destructed or burned in the late 80s or early 90s.
14.Pellegrini et Naoum: (photo by Yannis Vahlas, 2006) [AAHA ].This store was originally owned by 2 Alexandrians of Levantine origins.The store was nationalized by the Egyptian government according to the socialist laws of 1961.The store have undergone a gradual decline since that time [as can be deduced easily from the photo].
