Betty Boop (Helen Kane Caricature) - I Have To Have You (1930)

A plump furry one-shot character patterned after Helen Kane's 1929 appearance. The characters debut was so popular that the public wanted to see more so the Fleischer Studios was urged by the company they worked for to work on the character that people adored and they worked on it from 1930-1931 and Betty Boop was born in 1931 and later debuted as a human girl (officially) in a 1932 cartoon. Later Kane would sue only to lose because she didn't have enough evidence and the scat sound she made were not unique.

Lyrics:

Betty Boop:

Loving

I have to have loving

But when I'm having my loving

I have to have

Poop-Oop-a-Doopy Now!

Bimbo:

Boop-Poop-a-Doop!

Betty Boop:

Moments

Oh, I must have my moments

But when I'm having my moments

I have to have you

Bimbo:

Boop-Poop-a-Doop-Boo!

Betty Boop:

I'm so blue

Waiting for you

To take me

Oh, I can't go on like this

Give me a kiss, huh?

And make me

Poop-Oop-A-Doop-A-Doop

Whoopee!

I want to make

Whoopee!

And if I want to make

Whoopee!

I have to have

Poop-a-Doop-a-Doop-a-Doop-Boop-Oop-A-Doop

Whoopee!
