Picture-postcard Provence village turning to the far-right

Puget-Théniers, a picture-postcard village in Provence, is representative of the quiet political rebellion underway in rural areas of France. An idyllic town situated halfway between mountains and the Mediterranean, the locals of this village voted overwhelmingly for 'anti-establishment' candidates in the first round of elections, with 37 per cent going for far-right second-round candidate Marine Le Pen.
