2 Militants, 1 civilian dead in Army Op in Kashmir

Two militant and a civilian were killed in an overnight encounter between the militants and armed forces in Kulgam area in southern Kashmir on Monday. While the police claim that a stray bullet killed the civilian, locals say that it was a targeted kill in cold blood. According to the police, the two slain militants have been identified as Javed Ahmad Kachroo and Idrees Nengroo. Both the militants are Kashmiris and affiliated with Hizbul Mujahideen militant outfit.
