PM Modi visits Jammu amist Pak ceasefire violation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Jammu on Friday to take part in the centenary celebrations of former Jammu and Kashmir finance minister Girdhari Lal Dogra. His visit comes against the backdrop of ceasefire violations by Pakistan along the Line of Control in the state in the last few days. Security has been beefed up in and around Jammu ahead of the Modi's visit to the city. The venue of the function, General Zorawar Singh auditorium of the Jammu University, has been sealed and the entire University has been turned into a fortress.
