by Anthony FalcoThe “Train Suite Shiki-shima” just embarked on its first journey from Tokyo to the island of Hokkaido. Tickets for this luxury train cost nearly $10,000. It has 17 guestrooms for 34 passengers – and because it’s all about the journey, and not the destination, the train only hits top speeds of 68 mph. It’s been so popular that tickets aren’t available until March 2018.
