Switzerland bans burqa, $10000 fine for violating the law

Switzerland has banned burqa and any woman who is caught up wearing a veil will be fined 6 Lakhs or 10K dollars. According to the Local, the Ticino government had wanted to ban burqas and niqabs as well as masks worn by demonstrators and balaclavas. Other face coverings such as masks, balaclavas or crash helmets are still permitted.
